      Kuantifikasi Emisi Gas Metana (CH4) pada Budidaya Padi Sistem FONi dengan Variasi Tinggi Muka Air dan Pupuk

      Abstract
      Emisi metana (CH4) dari lahan sawah merupakan penyumbang signifikan terhadap pemanasan global, sehingga memerlukan strategi mitigasi yang presisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis fluks emisi CH4 berdasarkan variasi tinggi muka air dan jenis pupuk untuk menentukan skenario mitigasi yang paling efektif. Melalui penelitian yang dilaksanakan di Kinjiro Farm, Kota Bogor pada periode Februari hingga Juni 2026, metode eksperimen diterapkan dengan membandingkan variasi rezim air mulai dari kondisi tergenang hingga berselang yang dikombinasikan dengan aplikasi pupuk organik dan anorganik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingginya ketersediaan substrat karbon pada pupuk organik memicu total emisi tertinggi mencapai 520,75 kg/ha/musim. Sebaliknya, skenario mitigasi paling optimal berhasil dicapai dari perlakuan rezim air berselang dan pupuk anorganik yang mampu menekan emisi hingga titik terendah sebesar 184,26 kg/ha/musim. Implikasi temuan ini menegaskan bahwa sinergi antara pemutusan kondisi anaerobik dan pengendalian suplai substrat karbon menjadi kunci utama perwujudan praktik pertanian rendah emisi.
       
      Methane emissions from paddy fields contribute to global warming, necessitating precise mitigation. This study analyzes methane fluxes under varying water levels and fertilizer types to identify optimal mitigation scenarios. Field experiments at Kinjiro Farm in Bogor City from February to June 2026 compared water regimes ranging from continuous flooding to alternate wetting and drying combined with organic and inorganic fertilizers. Results indicate that abundant carbon substrate in organic fertilizers triggered the highest total emissions at 520.75 kg/ha/season. Conversely, combining alternate wetting and drying with inorganic fertilizers optimally suppressed emissions to a minimum of 184.26 kg/ha/season. These findings confirm that synergizing the disruption of anaerobic conditions and the control of carbon substrate supply is key to realizing low emission agriculture.
