| dc.description.abstract | Peningkatan kebutuhan pangan dan keterbatasan sumber daya mendorong pengembangan teknologi budidaya yang efisien dalam pemanfaatan air dan energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efisiensi pemanfaatan air dan energi serta kelayakan ekonomi sistem irigasi hidroponik dan FONi pada budidaya pakcoy. Penelitian dilakukan di Kinjiro Farm, Bogor, pada Februari–April 2026 selama dua periode tanam menggunakan air hujan sebagai sumber irigasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan air FONi lebih rendah, yaitu 90,30 L dan 62,31 L, dibandingkan hidroponik sebesar 158,77 L dan 99,67 L. Kedua sistem mampu mengefisiensikan air sebesar 100% . Hidroponik membutuhkan energi listrik sebesar 16,35kWh pada periode pertama dan 17,80 kWh periode kedua, sedangkan FONi tidak menggunakan listrik. FONi memiliki rasio R/C lebih tinggi (2,2; 1; dan 1,5) dibandingkan hidroponik (1,84; 0,89; dan 1,3). Hasil ini menunjukkan FONi lebih hemat dalam pemanfaatan air tanpa energi listrik mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan yang hemat air dan energi. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Increasing food demand and limited resources have encouraged the development of cultivation technologies that improve water and energy use efficiency. This study aimed to compare the water and energy use efficiency and economic feasibility of hydroponic and FONi irrigation systems for pakcoy cultivation. The research was conducted at Kinjiro Farm, Bogor, from February to April 2026 over two planting periods using harvested rainwater as the irrigation water source. The results showed that FONi required less irrigation water, amounting to 90,30 L and 62,31 L, compared to the hydroponic system, which required 158,77 L and 99,67 L. Both systems achieved 100% water-use efficiency. The hydroponic system consumed 16.35 kWh of electrical energy in the first planting period and 17.80 kWh in the second period, whereas FONi operated without electricity. FONi also exhibited higher R/C ratios (2,2; 1; and 1,5) than the hydroponic system (1,84; 0,89; and 1,3). These findings indicate that FONi is more efficient in water use without requiring electrical energy and has the potential to support sustainable agriculture through efficient water and energy utilization. | |
