| dc.description.abstract | Ikan rejung (Sillago sihama) merupakan ikan demersal pesisir yang rentan terhadap akumulasi logam berat dan degradasi lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji aspek reproduksi ikan rejung di Perairan Muara Gembong, Teluk Jakarta, sebagai dasar pengelolaan sumberdaya ikan secara berkelanjutan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada Juli hingga Desember 2025 menggunakan metode purposive sampling dari hasil tangkapan nelayan, dan analisis sampel dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Biologi Makro I, IPB University. Ikan rejung yang tertangkap memiliki kisaran panjang 118-225 mm dengan pola pertumbuhan allometrik positif (b>3) pada jantan maupun betina. Faktor kondisi berkisar antara 0,5776-0,8071 dengan puncak tertinggi pada bulan September. Rasio kelamin jantan dan betina sebesar 1,29:1 menunjukkan dominansi jantan. Puncak pemijahan diperkirakan terjadi pada September dan November. Ukuran pertama kali matang gonad jantan adalah 179 mm dan betina 160 mm. Fekunditas berkisar 3,011-23,920 butir telur, dan pola pemijahan teridentifikasi sebagai partial spawner. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The Indian whiting (Sillago sihama) is a coastal demersal fish that is vulnerable to heavy metal accumulation and environmental degradation. This study aims to examine the reproductive biology of the Indian whiting in the waters of Muara Gembong, Jakarta Bay, as a basis for sustainable fisheries management. Sampling was conducted from July to December 2025 using the purposive sampling method from fishermen’s catches, and sample analysis was performed at the Macro Biology Laboratory I, IPB University. The captured Indian whiting ranged in length from 118–225 mm, exhibiting positive allometric growth (b > 3) in both males and females. Condition factors ranged from 0,5776 to 0,8071 peaking in September. The sex ratio of males to females was 1.29:1, indicating male dominance. Spawning peaks were estimated to occur in September and November. The first gonadal maturity length for males is 179 mm and for females 160 mm. Fecundity ranges from 3,011 to 23,920 eggs, and the spawning pattern is identified as partial spawning. | |
