      Abstract
      Tanah pasir bergradasi buruk memiliki nilai kohesi yang rendah dan nilai permeabilitas yang tinggi sehingga memerlukan stabilisasi tanah yang efektif dan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi dampak waktu inkubasi dan kejenuhan terhadap karakteristik mekanik dan hidrolik pasir hasil biostabilisasi. Parameter mekanik dianalisis melalui nilai unconfined compressive strength (UCS) dan modulus sekan E50, sedangkan parameter hidrolik dianalisis melalui nilai koefisien permeabilitas (ksat). Material benda uji terdiri atas pasir, inokulum ragi tempe, dan akuades yang diinkubasi dalam variasi waktu 24, 36, 48, 72, dan 108 jam. Performa mekanik tertinggi terjadi pada kondisi kering udara di waktu inkubasi 48 jam dengan UCS sebesar 127,48 ± 1,22 kPa dan E50 sebesar 12.380 ± 1.805 kPa. Kondisi jenuh air menyebabkan penurunan kekuatan dan kekakuan secara signifikan pada seluruh variasi. Biostabilisasi miselium menurunkan koefisien permeabilitas dari 6,98 × 10-2 cm/det menjadi 8,16 × 10-4 cm/det pada waktu inkubasi 72 jam. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa biostabilisasi berbasis miselium jamur dipengaruhi oleh waktu inkubasi dan kondisi kejenuhan.
       
      Poorly graded sand has low cohesion and high permeability, requiring an effective and environmentally friendly soil stabilization method. This study evaluated the effects of incubation time and saturation condition on the mechanical and hydraulic characteristics of biostabilized sand. The mechanical parameters were analyzed based on unconfined compressive strength (UCS) and secant modulus E50, while the hydraulic parameter was analyzed based on the permeability coefficient (ksat). The specimens consisted of sand, tempeh starter inoculum, and distilled water, which were incubated for 24, 36, 48, 72, and 108 hours. The highest mechanical performance occurred under air-dried conditions at an incubation time of 48 hours, with a UCS value of 127.48 ± 1.22 kPa and an E50 value of 12,380 ± 1,805 kPa. Saturated conditions caused a significant reduction in strength and stiffness across all variations. Mycelium biostabilization reduced the permeability coefficient from 6.98 × 10?² cm/s to 8.16 × 10?4 cm/s at an incubation time of 72 hours. The results indicate that fungal mycelium-based biostabilization is influenced by incubation time and saturation condition.
