      Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is disease transmitted by mosquitoes and remains a health problem in Bali Province in 2024. In this study, the dynamics of disease transmission is modeled using the SEIR-SEI mathematical model. The human population is divided into four subpopulations: Susceptible, Exposed, Infected, and Recovered, while the mosquito population is divided into three subpopulations: Susceptible, Exposed, and Infected. The aim of this research is to control DHF by analyze stability of equilibrium points, determine the basic reproduction number (??0), and evaluate the effects of parameters ?? (mosquito biting rate), ??_?? (mosquito mortality rate), and ?? (rasio of mosquito population to human population) trough numerical simulations. The analysis shows that the disease-free equilibrium is stable when ??0 < 1, while the endemic equilibrium occurs when ??0 > 1. Numerical simulations indicate that reducing ?? and ??, as well as increasing ??_??, can supress the spread of DHF in Bali Province, leading the system to a disease-free condition.
