Evaluasi Efektivitas Rehabilitasi Terumbu Karang dengan Pendekatan Sosial-Ekologi di Pulau Pari, Kepulauan Seribu
Abstract
Coral reefs are vital ecosystems whose conditions continue to decline. Rehabilitation programs have emerged as a key strategy to accelerate ecosystem recovery. This study aims to assess the condition of coral reef ecosystems in rehabilitation areas and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation in Pari Island, Thousand Islands. Data were collected using ecological and social approaches and analyzed using the Coral Reef Rehabilitation Effectiveness Index (TER). The results indicate that the condition of coral reefs remains suboptimal. The ecological TER value is categorized as moderately effective (32,17%), with variations among sites, while the social aspect is classified as highly impactful (70,83%). The combined TER value indicates that the rehabilitation program is considered partially successful (48,74%). Overall, coral reef rehabilitation at the study site can be regarded as successful, with the social aspect contributing significantly to this
outcome, while the ecological aspect in several areas remains relatively low.
