| dc.description.abstract | Ekosistem tanah hutan tropis memiliki keanekaragaman mikroorganisme yang tinggi dan berperan penting dalam siklus nutrien, dekomposisi bahan organik, serta dinamika interaksi mikroba. Namun, informasi mengenai mikrobioma tanah di Hutan Cikabayan IPB Dramaga masih terbatas, terutama berdasarkan pendekatan metagenomik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keanekaragaman serta menganalisis struktur dan potensi metabolik komunitas mikrobioma tanah Hutan Cikabayan IPB Dramaga menggunakan analisis metagenomik. Sekuensing dilakukan dengan Oxford Nanopore Technologies PromethION 2 Solo, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan platform UseGalaxy dan R. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa komunitas mikrobioma tanah didominasi oleh bakteri. Pada tingkat filum, komunitas bakteri didominasi oleh Proteobacteria, sedangkan pada tingkat famili oleh Alcaligenaceae, yang menunjukkan bahwa struktur komunitas tidak merata dengan dominansi takson tertentu. Anotasi KEGG menunjukkan bahwa jalur Global and Overview Maps (Metabolic Pathways) memiliki kelimpahan tertinggi, mencerminkan dominasi fungsi metabolisme esensial pada komunitas mikroba tanah. Analisis gen fungsional mengungkap kelompok gen yang terkait dengan metabolisme dan proses seluler dasar, yang berperan dalam berbagai jalur biokimia seperti sintesis biomolekul, produksi energi, dan regulasi enzim. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Tropical forest soil ecosystems harbor a high diversity of microorganisms that play important roles in nutrient cycling, organic matter decomposition, and microbial interactions. However, information regarding the diversity and community structure of soil microbiomes in the IPB Dramaga Cikabayan Forest remains limited, particularly using metagenomic approaches. This study aimed to identify microbial diversity and analyze the structure and metabolite potential of the soil microbiome community in the IPB Dramaga Cikabayan Forest based on metagenomic analysis. Sequencing was performed on an Oxford Nanopore Technologies PromethION 2 Solo, while data analysis was performed using UseGalaxy and R. The results showed that the soil microbiome was dominated by bacteria, particularly Proteobacteria at the phylum level and Alcaligenaceae at the family level, indicating an uneven community structure. KEGG annotation revealed that the Global and Overview Maps (Metabolic Pathways) pathway had the highest abundance, highlighting the dominance of essential metabolic functions. Functional gene analysis revealed gene groups associated with metabolism and fundamental cellular processes, which are involved in various biochemical pathways, including biomolecule synthesis, energy production, and enzyme regulation. | |
