      Abstract
PT Alam Indonesia Raharja menghadapi permasalahan pengendalian persediaan minyak serai wangi berupa kelebihan stok (overstock).

PT Alam Indonesia Raharja faces inventory control issues in citronella oil in the form of overstock. This study aims to analyze demand forecasting, determine the optimal order quantity and timing, and compare inventory costs before and after the implementation of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The methods used include Trend Analysis for forecasting, as well as EOQ, safety stock, reorder point (ROP), and Total Inventory Cost (TIC) for inventory control. The results show that the projected demand for 2026 is 8.569,44 kg. The application of EOQ produces an optimal order quantity of 1.181 kg with a frequency of 7 orders per year and an interval of 1,65 months. The reorder point is set at 292,35 kg with a safety stock of 17,68 kg. The total inventory cost decreases to Rp44.804.313, resulting in savings of Rp5.793.839 or 11,45%. It is recommended that the company consistently apply EOQ and demand forecasting to improve efficiency and accuracy in inventory control.
