dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis pupuk nitrogen (N) optimal melalui aplikasi fertigasi dengan sistem irigasi tetes pada tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.) varietas Ronaldo F1. Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Cikarawang, IPB, pada Januari–April 2025 dengan rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak (RKLT) faktor tunggal lima taraf dosis pupuk N (0%, 50%, 100%, 150%, dan 200% rekomendasi FERADS) dengan lima ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk N berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap umur berbunga dan umur panen, nyata terhadap bobot buah per tanaman serta bobot buah per hektare, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah buah, panjang dan diameter buah, serta padatan terlarut total (PTT). Dosis 50%N menghasilkan bobot buah per buah tertinggi (190,68 g) serta nilai Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) dan Water Use Efficiency (WUE) yang paling optimal. Berdasarkan analisis regresi, dosis optimum pemupukan N yang dianjurkan berada pada kisaran 99–110% rekomendasi FERADS dengan potensi hasil 30–35 ton ha?¹. Dengan demikian, penerapan fertigasi berbasis rekomendasi dosis N dapat meningkatkan produktivitas mentimun sekaligus efisiensi penggunaan pupuk dan air.
dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to determine the optimal nitrogen (N) fertilizer dosage applied via fertigation using a drip irrigation system on cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.) cv. Ronaldo F1. The experiment was conducted at the Cikarawang Experimental Field, IPB, from January to April 2025 using a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with a single factor, consisting of five N fertilizer levels (0%, 50%, 100%, 150%, and 200% FERADS recommendations) and five replications. Results showed that N application significantly affected flowering time, harvesting time, fruit weight per plant, and estimated yield per hectare, but had no significant effect on plant height, leaf number, fruit number, fruit length and diameter, and total soluble solids (TSS). The 50% N treatment produced the highest average fruit weight (190,68 g) and the most efficient Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) and Water Use Efficiency (WUE) values. Regression analysis indicated that the optimal N fertilizer dosage was within 99–110% of FERADS recommendation, with a potential yield of 30–35 tons ha?¹. Thus, fertigation with optimized N dosage can improve cucumber productivity while enhancing nutrient and water use efficiency.
