      Abstract
      Analisis usaha ini dilakukan untuk menilai kelayakan dan kinerja usaha peternakan ayam petelur di Benteng Takeshi Farm yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan. Kajian ini mencakup analisis teknis, finansial, dan pemasaran untuk mengetahui sejauh mana usaha tersebut efisien, menguntungkan, serta memiliki prospek pengembangan ke depan. Data yang digunakan terdiri atas data primer hasil observasi lapangan dan wawancara dengan pengelola, serta data sekunder dari laporan usaha dan berbagai sumber literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa populasi ayam petelur sebanyak 1.500 ekor strain ISA Brown menghasilkan 109.110 butir telur selama periode produksi empat bulan (November 2023–Februari 2024). Nilai Hen Day Production (HDP) rata-rata sebesar 70,9%, sedangkan Hen House Production (HHP) mencapai 60,6%. Total biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp128.339.430 dengan total penerimaan Rp163.660.500, sehingga diperoleh laba bersih sebesar Rp35.320.570. Nilai Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) sebesar 1,27 menunjukkan bahwa usaha ini tergolong layak dan memberikan keuntungan positif.
       
      Was conducted to evaluate the feasibility and performance of a layer chicken farming at Benteng Takeshi Farm, in Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan. The research focused on technical, financial, and marketing aspects to determine the level of efficiency, profitability, and future development potential of the business. Both primary data, collected through field observations and interviews, and secondary data, obtained from farm records and relevant references, were used in the analysis. The results indicated that a population of 1,500 ISA Brown laying hens produced a total of 109,110 eggs during a four-month production period (November 2023–February 2024). The average Hen Day Production (HDP) reached 70,9, while the Hen House Production (HHP) was 60,6%. The total production cost amounted to IDR 128,339,430, with total revenue of IDR 163,660,500, generating a net profit of IDR 35,320,570. The Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) of 1.27 indicates that the enterprise is financially viable and profitable.
