      Abstract

According to the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN) data in 2023, the amount of waste generated reached 38,1 million tons per year. Of this amount, 60% of the waste is managed and 40% has not been managed optimally. One of the most effective ways in waste management is to optimize waste banks. The Harum Main Waste Bank (BSI) has waste processing machines such as plastic shredders and presses. However, the operation of these machines is not optimal due to challenges related to limited human resources and high operational costs. This study aims to analyze nonfinancial aspects, estimate financial feasibility, and analyze the sustainability status of BSI Harum. The methods used are descriptive analysis, financial feasibility analysis, and Rapid Appraisal Techniques for Fisheries (Rapfish). The results of this study indicate that BSI Harum is feasible in both nonfinancial and financial aspects, and its sustainability status indicates that BSI Harum is quite sustainable, with the highest index value in the social dimension (84,75) and the lowest index value in the ecological dimension (54,03).
