dc.description.abstractTernak itik memiliki potensi sebagai sumber protein hewani yang dapat dikembangkan di Indonesia. Itik Cihateup dan itik Pajajaran merupakan dua rumpun lokal asal Jawa Barat yang disilangkan untuk memperoleh rumpun lebih unggul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persilangan itik Pajajaran dan Cihateup terhadap persentase bobot karkas dan non karkas. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan empat perlakuan: P1 (Cihateup×Ciahetup), P2 (Pajajaran-Ciahteup), P3 (Pajajaran-Pajajaran) dan P4 (Cihateup-Pajajaran), masing-masing terdiri dari 3 ekor jantan dan 3 ekor betina. Peubah yang diamati meliputi bobot hidup, bobot karkas, dan bobot non karkas beserta persentasenya. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Ragam (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan Uji Tukey dengan taraf 5%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa jenis kelamin berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot hidup, karkas, bagian karkas (kecuali sayap), non karkas dan bagian non karkas, dengan nilai itik jantan lebih tinggi. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh dari P2 (persilangan Pajajaran ? × Cihateup ?).
dc.description.abstractDucks have potential as a source of animal protein that can be further developed in Indonesia. Cihateup and Pajajaran ducks are two local breeds from West Java that have been crossbred to obtain a superior line. This study aimed to analyze the effect of crossing Pajajaran and Cihateup ducks on the percentage of carcass and non-carcass weight. The research was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four treatments: P1 (Cihateup×Cihateup), P2 (Pajajaran×Cihateup), P3 (Pajajaran×Pajajaran), and P4 (Cihateup×Pajajaran), each consisting of 3 male and 3 female ducks. Observed variables included live weight, carcass weight, non-carcass weight, and their respective percentages. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Tukey’s test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that sex significantly affected live weight, carcass weight, carcass components (except wings), non-carcass weight, and non-carcass components, with males having higher values. The best treatment was P2 (Pajajaran ? × Cihateup ? crossbreed).
