      Abstract

Rate of Premium is an important aspect of the selection of risk on Managed Care health insurance products. In this study several factors influenced the rate of premium that institution follows health insurance products, risk cleasses, geographical areas, and total insurance. The number of collectives (response variables) is divided into two, with high premiums and low premiums, which is categorical data so that the method used is binary logistic regression. Binary Logistic Regression analysis that the binary respon variable (1 or 0) with factors that affect the rate of premium on Managed Care health insurance products. The result of the study acquired two variable that have significant effect of risk classes and geographical areas. The premium rate of an institution depends on the risk class and geographic region. The higher the risk class and if the institution are in the Jabodetabek geographic region, the higher the premium of Managed Care health insurance with an accuracy of classification of binary logistic regression model by 85%. Keywords: binary logistic regression, insurance, premium
