| dc.description.abstract | Cabai Katokkon (Capsicum chinense Jasq.) merupakan tanaman
hortikultura yang memiliki potensi ekonomi tinggi untuk dikembangkan karena
rasanya sangat pedas dan bentuknya unik, akan tetapi pada cabai katokkon
menghadapi masalah yaitu luasan panen yang menurun. Peningkatan produksi tetap
dapat dicapai meskipun dengan luasan panen yang menurun. Upaya peningkatan
produksi yaitu dengan memperbanyak cabang untuk meningkatkan buah melalui
pemanfaatan Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (ZPT). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui
konsentrasi ZPT terbaik untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi cabai katokkon.
Percobaan dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2023 hingga bulan Maret 2024 di
Kebun Percobaan Leuwikopo, Departemen Agronomi dan Hortikultura, Fakultas
Pertanian, Institut Pertanian Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan
Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu
Giberelin (0 ppm, 100 ppm, 200 ppm) dan Sitokinin (0 ppm, 100 ppm, 200 ppm)
diterapkan dengan semprot daun pada 30 HST (hari setelah tanam), 40 HST, dan
50 HST. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian ZPT berpengaruh nyata terhadap
tinggi, jumlah cabang, dan bobot buah per bedeng dan bobot buah per tanaman.
Kinetin 100 ppm memberikan hasil tertinggi pada karakter jumlah cabang primer,
jumlah cabang sekunder, dan jumlah cabang tersier. Perlakuan giberelin 200 ppm
memberikan hasil tertinggi pada karakter tinggi tanaman. Kombinasi kinetin 200
ppm dan giberelin 200 ppm menghasilkan komponen hasil paling maksimum. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Katokkon Chilli (Capsicum chinense Jacq.) is a horticultural plant with a
high economic potential to be developed because of its spicy taste and unique shape.
Still, the problem is that the crop area is decreasing. An increase in production
remains achievable even with decreasing crop spaces. Effort to increase production
are by increasing the number of branches to increase fruit through the use of Plant
Growth Regulator (PGR). The research is aimed at finding the best concentration
of PGR to increase the yield of katokkon peppers. The trials were conducted from
October 2023 to March 2024 at the Leuwikopo Experimental Garden, Department
of Agronomy and Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, Bogor Agricultural Institute.
This study uses a 2 factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The first
factor, Giberelin (0 ppm, 100 ppm and 200 ppm) and cytokinin (0 pppm, 100ppm,
200ppm) were applied with leaf spray at 30 DAP (day after planting), 40 DAP and
50 DAP. The results of the research showed that PGR administration had a real
influence on the height, number of branches, and weight of fruit per crop and fruit
weight per plant. The kinetine 100 ppm gives the highest results on the character
number of primary branches, number of secondary Branches, and number of
tertiary Branch. The 200 ppm giberellin treatment gives the greatest outcomes on
the high character of plants. | |
