      Pengujian Keragaan 26 Kombinasi Galur Padi (Oryza sativa L.) Generasi F7 pada Sistem Multikanopi

      Abstract
      Peningkatan produktivitas padi melalui intensifikasi berupa penggunaan varietas unggul dan pola tanam optimum dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi utama masyarakat. Multikanopi merupakan sistem penanaman dua genotipe padi yang memiliki perbedaan katakter tinggi tanaman pada hamparan lahan baku yang sama dengan jarak tanam yang berdekatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keragaan galur padi sebagai calon genotipe padi tinggi dan padi pendek pada pola tanam multikanopi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai bulan Juli 2024 di Kebun Percobaan Sawah Baru IPB, Desa Babakan, Kecamatan Dramaga, Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak faktor tunggal dengan 3 ulangan. Bahan tanam yang digunakan yaitu 24 genotipe padi tinggi dan 3 genotipe padi pendek dengan 2 varietas pembanding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat satu kombinasi multikanopi yaitu galur IPB200-F-48 & Inpari 32 (5,66 ton ha?¹) yang berbeda nyata lebih tinggi dari kedua varietas pembanding yaitu Inpari 32 (3,42 ton ha?¹) dan Ciherang (3,36 ton ha?¹). Kombinasi galur IPB187-F-40 & Inpari 32 (5,50 ton ha?¹) memiliki hasil yang berbeda nyata lebih tinggi dari varietas Ciherang. Terdapat 3 kombinasi lainnya yang memiliki produktivitas multikanopi di atas 5 ton ha?¹ yaitu galur IPB200-F-46 & Inpari 32 (5,04 ton ha?¹), IPB202-F-4 & IPB200-F-60 (5,14 ton ha?¹), dan IPB200-F-58 & IPB200-F-43 (5,18 ton ha?¹).
       
      Increasing rice productivity through intensifications by using improved varieties and optimum cropping systems are carried out to meet the main consumption needs of the community. Multi-canopy is a system of planting two rice genotypes with different plant heights with close spacing in one area. This research aimed to evaluate several rice lines as candidates of tall and short rice genotypes for the multi-canopy planting system. The research was carried out from March to July 2024 at the IPB Sawah Baru Experimental Station, Babakan Village, Dramaga District, Bogor. This study used a single-factor randomized completed block design with three replications. The planting materials used were 24 tall rice genotypes and 3 short rice genotypes with 2 check varieties. The results of the research showed that one multi-canopy combination, IPB200-F-48 & Inpari 32 (5.66 tons ha?¹), had a significantly higher yield than the two check varieties, Inpari 32 (3.42 tons ha?¹), and Ciherang (3.36 tons ha?¹). Meanwhile, another multi-canopy combination IPB187-F-40 & Inpari 32 (5.50 tons ha?¹), had a significantly higher yield than the Ciherang variety. There are three other multi-canopy combinations yielded higher that 5 ton ha?¹, namely IPB200-F-46 & Inpari 32 (5.04 tons ha?¹), IPB202-F-4 & IPB200-F-60 (5.14 tons ha?¹), and IPB200-F-58 & IPB200-F-43 (5.18 tons ha?¹).
