dc.description.abstractKelor merupakan sayuran indigenous yang belum diperbanyak secara massif di Indonesia. Perbanyakan pada kelor dilakukan secara generatif dan vegetatif. Perbanyakan vegetatif dengan setek hanya menghasilkan satu bibit setek dengan presentase hidup 63,33%. Sehingga perlu dilakukan peningkatan jumlah setek dan presentase hidup setek. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari respon pertumbuhan bahan tanam kelor berdasarkan posisi peletakan setek dan aplikasi auksin. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai bulan Juli – Desember 2023 di Kebun Percobaan Cikabayan Atas. Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dua faktor dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama posisi setek dua taraf yaitu horizontal dan vertikal kemudian faktor kedua aplikasi auksin dua taraf yaitu tanpa auksin dan dengan auksin. Kandungan metabolit sekunder daun kelor pada penelitian ini untuk total flavonoid 0,52 – 0,67 mg g-1, antosianin 0,07 – 0,19 mg 100 g-1, karoten 0,77 – 0,83 mg 100 g-1, dan total fenol 4,99 – 5, 42 % (b/b). Hasil dari posisi peletakan setek, aplikasi auksin, dan interaksi kedua faktor pada tanaman kelor belum bisa dijadikan sebagai rujukan, karena tingkat populasi setek hidup sampai akhir pengamatan yang rendah. Hal ini disebabkan adanya serangan hama selama proses penelitian.
dc.description.abstractMoringa is an indigenous vegetable that has not been cultivated on a large scale in Indonesia. Propagation of moringa is achieved through generative and vegetative means. Vegetative propagation with cuttings produces a single seedling with a live percentage of 63,33%. Therefore, enhancing the number of cuttings and the percentage of living cuttings is essential. This research aims to investigate the growth response of moringa planting material about the position of the cuttings and the application of auxin. The study was conducted between July and December 2023 at the Cikabayan Experimental Garden. The experiment was designed using a two-factor completely randomized design with three replications. The first factor was two levels of cutting position, horizontal and vertical, while the second was two levels of auxin application, namely without auxin and with auxin. The secondary metabolite content of moringa leaves in this research for total flavonoids 0,52 – 0,67 mg g-1, anthocyanins 0,07 – 0,19 mg 100 g-1, carotene 0,77 – 0,83 mg 100 g-1, and total phenols 4,99 - 5, 42% (b / b). However, the results of the position of the cuttings, the application of auxin, and the interaction of the two factors cannot be used as a reference, as the population level of live cuttings until the end of observation was low. This was due to pest attacks during the research process.
