dc.description.abstractProbiotik sebagai suplemen tambahan pada pakan sudah umum digunakan pada proses budidaya perikanan. Probiotik merupakan kumpulan dari mikroba yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan usus dan sistem kekebalan tubuh. Peneletian ini mengkaji efektivitas probiotik komersial terhadap kelangsungan hidup ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) pada kolam terpal dengan air mengalir di daerah Situdaun, Bogor. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengaplikasian probiotik yaitu metode coating dengan parameter yang diukur yaitu : rata-rata bobot dan panjang ikan, total ikan yang hidup, Survival Rate (SR), Food Cenvertion Ratio (FCR), pertumbuhan laju mutlak, dan laju pertumbuhan harian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode sampling yang dilakukan setiap hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perlakuan probiotik komersial lebih baik dibandingkan kontrol pada parameter : rata-rata bobot dan panjang ikan (51,711g , 14,23 cm), pertumbuhan laju mutlak (17,97 cm), Food Conversion Ratio (1,179), dan laju pertumbuhan harian (0,60 cm). Namun, terdapat parameter perlakuan probiotik komersial tidak lebih baik dibandingkan kontrol yaitu total ikan yang hidup (38 individu), dan Survival Rate (47,5 % ). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan aplikasi probiotik komersial cukup efektif untuk budidaya ikan pada kolam terpal pada air mengalir.
dc.description.abstractProbiotics as additional supplements in feed are commonly used in the fisheries cultivation process. Probiotics are a collection of microbes used to improve intestinal health and the immune system. This research examines the effectiveness of commercial probiotics on the survival of carp (Cyprinus carpio) using tarpaulin ponds in Situdaun, Bogor. The method used in the application of commercial probiotics is the coating method with the parameters measured, namely: average weight and length of fish, total fish alive, Survival Rate (SR), Food Conversion Ratio (FCR), absolute growth rate, and daily growth rate. Data collection was carried out using a sampling method that was carried out every day. The results showed that probiotic treatment was better than control in the following parameters: average weight and length of fish (51.711g, 14.23 cm), absolute growth rate (17.97 cm), Food Conversion Ratio (1.179), and daily growth rate (0.60 cm). However, there were parameters of commercial probiotic treatment that were not better than control, namely the total number of fish alive (38 individuals), and Survival Rate (47.5%). The results of this study indicate that commercial probiotic application is quite effective for fish farming in tarpaulin ponds in flowing water.
