dc.description.abstract | Organic waste is the most abundant type of waste nationwide. Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot can decompose organic waste and with a high protein content is suitable for local chicken feed. The objectives of the research were to determine the amount of organic waste absorbed, identify financial feasibility, and analyze the efficiency of BSF maggot cultivation with a circular economic system. This research used four treatments P0 = 100% organic kitchen waste (SOD), P1 = 100% cow dung, P2 = 50% SOD 50% cow dung, P3 = 50% SOD 50% dairy waste, with descriptive-quantitative analysis. Economic analysis includes the process of drying, crushing, and making local chicken feed. The total organic waste absorbed was 237 kg. Based on the feasibility of the business, P3 generated the most profit. The maggot-crushing process obtained PP relatively quickly and the highest R/C, making it feasible to develop. P1 can add value to cow dung with efficient production costs. The process of making local chicken feed using maggot flour is the most profitable and efficient to develop. This research emphasizes the importance of implementing a circular economy by utilizing BSF maggot to decompose organic waste.
