Abstract

The persistent economic crisis occurred in the middle of 1997 has affected the household consumption portion along with the increasing of inflation rate due to the decreasing capability of households purchasing power. Meanwhile, households as consumers and producers play an important role in national activity as the biggest absorbent in national output. Thus, data on income and consumption of household can indicate the welfare level of population. Therefore. a good understanding of household consumption is important to determine how much must be provided and distributed.
