Peran Sektor Hortikultura dalam Perekonomian Jawa Barat

Abstract

Sektor hortikultura merupakan sub sektor unggulan pertanian yang berpeluang mendorong pertumbuhan perekonomian wilayah Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran sektor hortikultura, keterkaitan antar sektor, analisis multiplier, serta menganalisis dampak investasi sektor hortikultura terhadap sektor lain dan perekonomian wilayah di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis Input-Output dengan menggunakan tabel IO yang diperbaharui menggunakan metode Euro dengan klasifikasi 10 sektor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran sektor hortikultura terhadap pembentukan nilai tambah bruto berada pada urutan kedelapan dengan persentase sebesar 1,76%. Sektor hortikultura memiliki nilai keterkaitan ke depan dan ke belakang yang kecil, serta dampak multiplier terhadap output, pendapatn, dan tenaga kerja yang relatif kecil dibandingkan dengan sektor perekonomian lainnya. Dampak investasi dengan melakukan shock pada sektor hortikultura sebesar Rp2,46 triliun mampu meningkatkan output sektor perekonomian sebesar Rp2,94 triliun, terhadap pendapatan sebesar Rp1,12 triliun dan terhadap tenaga kerja sebanyak 41.045 orang. berdasarkan hal tersebut, sektor hortikultura memiliki kemampuan yang lemah dalam mendukung sektor-sektor lain dan perekonomian di Jawa Barat.

The horticulture sector is a leading agricultural subsector which has the opportunity to encourage economic growth in the West Java. This research aims to determine the role of the horticultural subsector, the relationship between sectors, multiplier analysis, and analyze the impact of investment in the horticultural sector on other sectors and the regional economy in West Java Province. The analytical method used is Input-Output analysis using the IO table which is updated using the Euro method with a classification of 10 sectors. The research results show that the role of the horticulture sector in the formation of gross added value is in eighth place with a percentage of 1.76%. The horticulture sector has small forward and backward linkages, and the multiplier impact on output, income and employment is relatively small compared to other economic sectors. The impact of investment by shock in the horticulture sector amounting to IDR 2.46 trillion was able to increase the output of the economic sector by IDR 2.94 trillion, income by IDR 1.12 trillion and a workforce of 41,045 people. Based on this, the horticulture sector has a weak ability to support other sectors and the economy in West Java.
