      Abstract
Jumlah pengunjung kantin dihitung setiap harinya.

Domestic cats commonly live among human and rely on anthropogenic food sources or leftover human food due to convenience and efficiency. This study aims to analyze the differences in daily cat behaviour and human-cat interactions in the IPB Campus cafeteria based on regular days and fasting days. Data were collected using the scan sampling method at 5-minute intervals for 35 days (20 regular days and 15 fasting days). Daily cafeteria visitors was counted and recorded. The daily behaviour of domestic cats was categorized into three groups: affiliative, self-maintenance, and negative encounter. Human-cat interactions that were observed included cat approaching humans, cat’s vocalization, feeding, petting, and human aggression. The cafeteria had more visitors on regular days than fasting days. The number of cats visiting the cafeteria was higher on fasting days compared to regular days. As the visitor count increased, the frequency of cat’s affiliative behaviour decreased, while the frequency of negative encounters between cats and humans increased. Self-maintenance behaviour and human-cat interactions was not significantly affected by the number of visitors.
