Laba perusahaan asuransi umum dipengaruhi banyak hal.
Similar to economies in other countries, to achieve and maintain financial sector stability, Indonesia requires the role of the general insurance sector. Despite the positive performance of the general insurance industry in Indonesia until 2021, its development still faces challenges, both in terms of market potential and capital. The profits of general insurance companies are influenced by various factors. This research analyze the impact of investment returns and claims expenses on the profits of general insurance companies in Indonesia using copula-based regression. Copula-based regression is chosen due to its greater flexibility than Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression. The data utilized includes investment returns, claims expenses, and profits of general insurance companies registered with the General Insurance Association of Indonesia from December 2020 to December 2021. The analysis results indicate that investment returns have a more accurate influence on profits than claims expenses.id
