melakukan pengelolaan tata air mikro seperti penerapan sistem budidaya jenuh air
(BJA) dan pemanfaatan mikroorganisme lokal seperti fungi mikoriza arbuskula
(FMA).
isolat asal lahan pasang surut Desa Mulyasari Kecamatan Tanjung Lago
meningkat setelah dilakukan pemerangkapan.
(termasuk Acaulospora scrobiculata, Acaulospora bireticulata, Acaulospora
mellea, Acaulospora laevis) dan Glomus (termasuk Glomus monosporum,
Glomus constritum, Glomus manihotis). Setelah dilakukan pemerangkapan,
budidaya konvensional (tanpa penjenuhan).
inokulan. Penjenuhan 2 bulan sejak tanam dengan pemberian inokulan FMA
menyebabkan terjadinya peningkatan produksi tebu sekitar 32,28% jika
| id |
dc.description.abstract | Sugarcane and soybeans are plantation crops and food crops whose
production amounts are still unable to meet national needs, one of the
contributing factors is the decreasing area of sugarcane and soybean planting.
Optimization of sugarcane land with soybean plants in an intercropping way is an
effort that can be done for optimal land use. Suboptimal land such as tidal swamp
has great potential to be developed as agricultural land because it has a large
area of land, but the problem with tidal swamp is high levels of pyrite so that the
pH becomes lower and is toxic to plants. Efforts that can be made to overcome
these problems are to carry out water and soil management such as the
application of a saturated soil culture system (SSC) and the use of local
microorganisms such as arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF).
The objectives of this study were 1) to analyze and evaluate the diversity of
isolates from tidal swamp in Mulyasari village and the diversity and number of
AMF spores in the AMF pemerangkapan process; 2) evaluate the suitability of
several sources of AMF inoculants on sugarcane and soybeans in water-saturated
cultivation; 3) analyze the growth response of sugarcane plants and their
breakdown through visual observation of agronomic and physiological
characters; 4) apply the use of AMF to increase the efficiency of P2O5 fertilization
and the efficiency of sugarcane and soybean plantations in saturated soil culture
in the tidal swamp of Mulyasari village, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra.
The results showed that AMF spores were found in the rhizosphere of corn
plants in tidal fields, but in small numbers and could increase after trapping.
The identified AMF spores have various shapes, including round, oval and oval,
with various color variations ranging from clear, yellow to brownish. The types of
AMF spores that were identified came from two main genera, namely
Acaulospora (including Acaulospora scrobiculata, Acaulospora bireticulata,
Acaulospora mellea, Acaulospora laevis) and Glomus (including Glomus
monosporum, Glomus constritum, Glomus manihotis). After trapping, two types of
AMF spores were found on the rhizosphere of corn plants, namely Acaulospora
sp. and Glomus sp. In the roots of host plants such as maize, soybean, and
sugarcane infected with AMF, there are various AMF structures, such as hyphae,
vesicles, arbuscules, and spores. Maize host plants showed higher potential in
terms of spore count and infection rate by AMF compared to soybean, sugarcane,
and sugarcane-soy intercrops, especially in the early generative phase.
Giving AMF inoculants, especially from corn sources, has a positive impact
on increasing the growth of sugarcane plants, in the dry weight of sugarcane
plants by around 45.44% when compared to plants that were not given inoculant.
In addition, the duration of saturation for 2 and 4 months from planting also had
a positive effect on increasing the growth and productivity of sugarcane
compared to conventional cultivation systems. In this study, the percentage of
AMF colonization in the form of internal hyphae was found more in the roots of
sugarcane plants, with the highest percentage of colonization being treated with
AMF inoculants from sugarcane, reaching 79.67%.
The interaction between inoculant sources and saturation time did not show
significant differences in all measured soybean parameters. However, the source
of inoculant showed a significant effect on several parameters, such as
chlorophyll content (a, b, and total), nutrient uptake of N, P, and K in leaves, as
well as nutrient content of P and K in leaves, plant height at 4 WAP and 6 WAP,
number of leaves at 4 WAP and 6 WAP, number of pods, number of nodules, wet
weight of crown and plant stem, dry weight of canopy and plant stem. On the
other hand, the treatment time factor of saturation showed a significant effect on
chlorophyll content (a and total), absorption of N, P, and K nutrients, as well as N
and P nutrient content, plant height at 2 WAP and number of leaves at 2 WAP, 4
WAP, and 6 WAP, the number of pods, the number of root nodules, the number of
stomata, the wet weight and the dry weight of the shoots, roots and plant stems..
In this study, inoculant sources from sugarcane showed the best results when
compared to inoculant sources from other plant hosts, especially when compared
to soybean plants without inoculation. In addition, the long saturation treatment
for 2 MAP and 4 MAP showed a better morphophysiological response in soybean
plants when compared to conventional cultivation.
In the monoculture system, saturation 2 and 4 months after planting with
the addition of AMF inoculant resulted in a significant increase in sugarcane
production, which was around 73.3-86.7% when compared to plants without
inoculant. Furthermore, at saturation 2 months after planting which was given
AMF inoculant, there was an increase in sugarcane production of around 32.28%
when compared to saturation 4 months after planting which was also given AMF
inoculant. Providing phosphate fertilizer at a dose of 36 kg P2O5 was able to
increase the production of intercropping sugar cane (7.07%) and monoculture
sugar cane (23.01%) when compared with a dose of 72 kg P2O5 at 2 months of
saturation. Providing phosphate fertilizer at a dose of 36 kg P2O5 was able to
increase monoculture sugar cane production by around 5.5% when compared to a
dose of 108 kg P2O5 at 4 months of saturation.
Meanwhile, in sugarcane-soybean intercropping, the addition of AMF
inoculant and saturation for 2 months increased sugarcane production by about
45.48% compared to non-inoculated crops. This increase in production also
applies to saturation for 4 months, where there is an increase in sugarcane
production of around 34.82% compared to plants that were not inoculated. The
results showed that the use of AMF inoculant made in increasing sugarcane
production, both in monoculture systems and sugarcane-soybean intercropping,
especially with the 2-month saturation period. In this study it was also found that
sugarcane-soybean intercropping has the potential to increase land use, with a
Land Equivalent Ratio value ranging from 1.44 - 1.73. | id |
