      Abstract
Wastewater mold plate cleaning of IPB printing has high chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solid (TSS), zinc (Zn), and pH values and do not meet with standard of safe quality wastewater criteria for environments and need to the treated. The simplest method for wastewater treatments is by coagulants addition and its adsorption with zeolite. This research was to compare alum and FeCl3 coagulant optimum conditions through coagulant concentrations and coagulation pH variation, analysis sludge product of coagulation, and observe the effect of zeolite additions to the resulted precipitation filtrate. It was observed that alum had optimum concentration of 110 mg/L and coagulation pH of 8 whereas FeCl3 had optimum concentration of 80 mg/L and coagulation pH at 6. Sludge product of coagulation had silicate. Zeolite additions could reduce COD, BOD5, TSS, and Zn values in its resulted precipitation filtrate however the reduction was not significant and COD, BOD5, TSS, and Zn values were still above the standard of safe quality wastewater.
