The textile industry in Pekalongan Regency produces liquid waste from dyeing, starch, printing and finishing activities. The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is an effort used by the industry in treating wastewater. WWTP consists of physical processes, combined physico-chemical and biological units. This study aims to evaluate the combination of physicochemical and biological units both in terms of performance and in terms of design based on wastewater characteristics and existing dimensions. Data collection was carried out by observing, interviewing, testing in the field, and testing in the laboratory. Recommendations in the form of adding aerator units and regulating facultative unit influent discharge due to performance and capacity in field conditions that are not met according to analysis. The effect of the biokinetic coefficient on the level of concentration of pollutant load S1 and HRT has been fulfilled even though the coefficient Y and k does not meet the criteria. The influence of SRT biokinetic coefficients is not appropriate due to the absence of Qw. Total TSS production is affected by an increase in the growth rate of biomass (Px). The increase Px is affected by the influent discharge and the increasing coefficient Yobs. Variation of influent discharge also affects the level of food production (F/M) and oxygen demand for microorganisms. Detention times that exceed the criteria for a combination of physicochemical and secondary sedimentation can be corrected by reducing dimensions resulting in minimum volume. The stirrer in the coagulation.
