      Abstract
      Cumi-cumi menjadi komoditas ekspor yang cukup tinggi. Produksi cumicumi di Indonesia bersumber dari tangkapan alam. Hal ini dapat berdampak terhadap siklus reproduksi cumi-cumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek biologi reproduksi cumi-cumi, yaitu tingkat kematangan gonad, fekunditas, musim pemijahan, dan pola pemijahan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga September 2022 di Palabuhanratu dan Blanakan, Jawa Barat. Terdapat tiga jenis cumi-cumi yang ditemukan di Palabuhanratu dan Blanakan, yaitu Uroteuthis chinensis, Uroteuthis duvaucelii, dan Sthenoteuthis oualaniensis.Nisbah kelamin dari seluruh spesies tidak seimbang antara jantan dan betina. Berdasarkan tingkat kematangan gonad dapat diduga musim pemijahan U. duvaucelii pada bulan Juli-Agustus, U. chinensis pada bulan September, dan S. oualaniensis pada bulan Agustus. Fekunditas berkisar antara 829-5649 butir pada U. duvaucelii, 972-25166 butir pada U. chinensis, dan 852-8647 butir pada S. Oualaniensis. Ketiga jenis cumi-cumi yang didaratkan di Palabuhanratu dan Blanakan memiliki pola pemijahan partial spawner
       
      Squid is a high export commodity. Squid production in Indonesia is sourced from natural catches. This may impact the squid's reproductive cycle. This study aimed to analyze squid reproductive biology, including the gonad maturity stage, fecundity, spawning season, and spawning pattern. The research was conducted from May to Sept 2022 in Palabuhanratu and Blanakan, West Java. There are three species of squid found in Palabuhanratu and Blanakan, namely Uroteuthis chinensis, Uroteuthis duvaucelii, and Sthenoteuthis oualaniensis. The sex ratio of all squid species was imbalance between males and females. Based on the gonad maturity stage, spawning season of U. duvaucelii was predicted to occur in July-August, U. chinensis in September, while S. oualaniensis in August. The fecundity ranges from 829-5649 eggs for U. duvaucelii, 972-25166 eggs for U. chinensis, and 852-8647 eggs for S. oualaniensis. The three species of squid landed in Palabuhanratu and Blanakan had a partial spawner spawning pattern.
