      Golongan Senyawa Adenostemma platyphyllum dan A. madurense sebagai Agen Antioksidan dan Antipenuaan

      Abstract
      Tanaman Adenostemma lavenia (L.) O. Kuntze dilaporkan memiliki bioaktivitas antioksidan dan antipenuaan sehingga spesies dalam genus yang sama, yaitu A. platyphyllum Cass. dan A. madurense DC. juga diduga berpotensi memiliki bioaktivitas tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyeleksi ekstrak teraktif spesies A. platyphyllum dan A. madurense sebagai agen antioksidan dan antipenuaan serta menduga golongan senyawanya. Perbedaan pelarut pengekstraksi (n-heksana, etil asetat, dan metanol) digunakan untuk menentukan ekstrak teraktifnya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kandungan fenolik tertinggi dihasilkan oleh ekstrak metanol A. platyphyllum (120,06 mg GAE/g ekstrak), sedangkan kandungan flavonoid dan terpenoid tertinggi dihasilkan oleh ekstrak etil asetat (masing-masing 58,62 mg KE/g ekstrak dan 6,88 NE/g ekstrak). Ekstrak metanol spesies tersebut menghasilkan aktivitas antioksidan dengan IC50 91,83 µg/ml, kapasitas antioksidan 38,42 mg AAE/g ekstrak, dan viabilitas sel khamir tertinggi. Ekstrak metanol A. platyphyllum memiliki aktivitas antioksidan dan antipenuaan lebih kuat daripada ekstrak metanol A. madurense. Aktivitas antioksidan ini berkorelasi sangat kuat dengan kandungan fenolik, sehingga golongan ini berperan dalam aktivitas tersebut.
       
      The plant Adenostemma lavenia (L.) O. Kuntze is reported to have antioxidant and antiaging bioactivity, so species in the same genus, namely A. platyphyllum Cass. and A. madurense DC. are also thought to have potential bioactivity. This study aims to select the most active extracts of A. platyphyllum and A. madurense as antioxidant and anti-aging agents and suspect the group of compounds. Different extracting solvents (n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol) were used to determine the most active extract. The results showed that the highest phenolic content was produced by methanol extract of A. platyphyllum (120.06 mg GAE/g extract). In comparison, the highest flavonoid and terpenoid content was produced by ethyl acetate extract (58.62 mg KE/g extract and 6.88 NE/g extract, respectively). The methanol extract of the species produced antioxidant activity with IC50 of 91.83 μg/ml, antioxidant capacity of 38.42 mg AAE/g extract, and the highest yeast cell viability. A. platyphyllum methanol extract has stronger antioxidant and antiaging activites than that of A. madurense. This antioxidant activity strongly correlates with phenolic content, so this group plays a role in this activity.
