dc.description.abstract | Cabai rawit merah (Capsicum frutescens L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang penting dan mempunyai nilai ekonomi tinggi bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Hal ini menjadikan kegiatan pemuliaan tanaman cabai rawit merah perlu untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi keragaan dan daya hasil tiga genotipe cabai rawit merah hibrida dan empat genotipe cabai rawit non hibrida dengan 3 varietas pembanding. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan September 2022 sampai Maret 2023 di Kebun Percobaan Leuwikopo IPB. Penelitian terdiri dari satu faktor yaitu genotipe (7 genotipe dan 3 varietas pembanding). Penanaman menggunakan rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak dengan tiga ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keragaan dan daya hasil antar genotipe cabai rawit merah. Umur berbunga semua genotipe uji berkisar 41,33-45,67 HST dengan umur panen yang berkisar antara 83,33-92,67 HST. Persentase tanaman hidup yang diamati pada akhir panen berkisar antara 37,50-70,83% dengan varietas pembanding Rawita F1 yang memiliki persentase terendah sebesar 37,50%. Genotipe F1.372340 merupakan genotipe dengan produktivitas yang paling tinggi mencapai 4,80 ton ha-1. Produktivitas genotipe tersebut masih lebih tinggi dibandingkan produktivitas varietas pembanding yang berkisar 1,48-2,72 ton ha-1. Genotipe uji memiliki daya simpan berkisar 9,30-15,00 HSP yang sama atau lebih baik daripada varietas pembanding yang berkisar 9,67-12,33 HSP. | id |
dc.description.abstract | Red cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is one of the important horticultural commodities and has high economic value for the people of Indonesia. This makes the chili plant breeding activities necessary to do. This research aims to evaluate the performance and yield of three genotypes of hybrid red cayenne pepper and four genotypes of non hybrid red cayenne pepper with three differences varieties. The research was carried out from September 2022 to March 2023 at the Leuwikopo Experimental Garden, IPB. The research consisted of one factor, which is genotype (7 genotypes and 3 control varieties). Planting using a randomized complete block design with three replications. The results showed that there were differences in performance and yield between red cayenne pepper genotypes. The flowering ages of all genotypes ranged from 41.33-45.67 DAP with the harvest ages ranging from 83.33-92.67 DAP. The percentage of live plants observed at the end of harvest ranged from 37.50-70.83% with the Rawita F1 variety having the lowest percentage of 37.50%. The F1.372340 genotype was the genotype with the highest productivity, reaching 4.80 tonnes ha-1. The productivity of these genotypes was still higher than the productivity of the control varieties, which ranged from 1.48 to 2.72 tons ha-1. The test genotypes had shelf life ranging from 9.30-15.00 DAH which was the same or better than the control varieties which ranged from 9.67-12.33 DAH. | id |
