dc.description.abstractSungai Cisindangbarang merupakan anak Sungai Cisadane di bagian hilir yang sebagian besar dimanfaatkan untuk sektor pertanian, perkebunan dan domestik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas air Sungai Cisindangbarang, menerapkan pemodelan Streeter-Phelps dan menganalisis kemampuan purifikasi alami Sungai Cisindangbarang. Metode penelitian diawali dengan penentuan titik sampling di 10 pos yang mewakili hulu, tengah dan hilir, kemudian dilakukan pengujuan kualitas air. Hasil pengukuran nilai suhu, pH, kekeruhan dan DO di sepanjang Sungai Cisindangbarang masih memenuhi baku mutu kecuali BOD pada pos 1 di bulan Mei. Pemodelan dengan tingkat akurasi yang paling tinggi adalah pemodelan dengan persamaan reaerasi yang dikembangkan oleh Susanto (SU). Nilai konstanta pemurnian di Sungai Cisindangbarang sebesar 2,33 di bulan Maret dan 2,35 di bulan Mei. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan nilai konstanta pemurnian Sungai Cisindangbarang yang lebih dari 1 menunjukkan bahwa proses penambahan oksigen terlarut lebih tinggi daripada pengurangan oksigen di sepanjang aliran sungai.id
dc.description.abstracthe Cisindangbarang River is a tributary of the Cisadane River in the lower reaches which is mostly utilized for the agricultural, plantation and domestic sectors. This study aims to analyze the water quality of the Cisindangbarang River, apply Streeter-Phelps modeling and analyze the natural purification capacity of the Cisindangbarang River. The research method begins with determining the sampling points at 10 posts representing the upstream, middle and downstream, then testing the water quality. The results of measuring the values of temperature, pH, turbidity and DO along the Cisindangbarang River still meet the quality standards except for BOD at post 1 in May. The model with the highest level of accuracy is the model with the reaeration equation developed by Susanto (SU) The purification constant value in the Cisindangbarang River was 2.33 in March and 2.35 in May. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the purification constant value of the Cisindangbarang River which is more than 1 indicates that the process of adding dissolved oxygen is higher than reducing oxygen along the river flowid
