Analisis Daya Saing, Potensi, dan Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Ekspor Minyak Kelapa Mentah (Crude Coconut Oil) Indonesia di Negara Tujuan Utama
Abstract
Crude coconut oil (CCO) is coconut derivative products that has high economic value and contributes greatly to the overall export of coconut products. Indonesia is the second largest exporter of CCO in the world, but the volume of Indonesia's CCO exports to major destination countries has declined in recent years. This research aims to analyze the comparative and competitive advantages of Indonesia's CCO in the main destination country, the export potential of CCO, and the factors that affect Indonesia's CCO exports in the main destination country. The analysis methods used RCA, EPD, X-Model, and panel data model. The results of RCA and EPD estimates show that Indonesia's CCO is comparatively competitive in Netherland, Malaysia, and United States and also is competitively competitive in the United States, namely in the rising star position. X-Model estimates show that Indonesia's CCO has an optimistic market in the United States. The estimation results of the model show that the variable CCO export price for Indonesia has a negative and significant effect, while the export price for CCO for the Philippines and trade openness has a significant positive effect on the export volume of Indonesia's CCO.
