Strategi Pengelolaan Limbah Cair Industri Pengolahan Ikan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Tanjungpandan
Abstract
Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Tanjungpandan belum memiliki Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) yang menyebabkan industri pengolahan ikan yang ada di dalam kawasan pelabuhan membuang limbah cair hasil produksi langsung ke kolam pelabuhan. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan kolam pelabuhan terindikasi telah terjadi pencemaran lingkungan perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung status mutu air pada kolam pelabuhan, mengidentifikasi pengelolaan limbah cair industri pengolahan ikan, dan merumuskan strategi pengelolaan limbah cair industri pengolahan ikan. Data kualitas air diperoleh dari dokumen hasil pengukuran kualitas air milik PPN Tanjungpandan sedangkan data penilaian pengelolaan limbah cair dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan kuesioner. Analisis STORET, analisis deskriptif, analisis SWOT, dan analisis USG digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status mutu air pada kolam pelabuhan di PPN Tanjungpandan memperoleh nilai indeks sebesar -40. Nilai indeks tersebut menunjukkan status mutu air termasuk klasifikasi tercemar berat. Pengelolaan limbah cair industri pengolahan ikan dinilai menggunakan tiga parameter sebagai indikator penilaian dengan total skor yang diperoleh ialah tujuh yang artinya pengelolaan limbah cair industri di PPN Tanjungpandan termasuk dalam ketegori buruk. Strategi pengelolaan limbah cair industri pengolahan ikan di PPN Tanjungpandan terdiri dari delapan strategi. Strategi menyediakan fasilitas IPAL terpadu agar industri dapat mengolah limbah cair hasil kegiatan produksi menjadi strategi prioritas. This condition causes port basin to have indicated that there pollution of the aquatic environment. This study aims to measure the status of water quality in port ponds, identify wastewater management from the fish processing industry, and formulate a strategy for managing liquid waste from the fish processing industry. Water quality data was obtained from the water quality measurement document belonging to TFP, while data on liquid waste management assessment was collected through interviews with questionnaires. STORET analysis, descriptive analysis, SWOT analysis, and USG analysis were used in this study. The results showed that the water quality status in the port pool at TFP obtained an index value of -40. The index value indicates the status of water quality included in the classification as heavily polluted. The assessment of the wastewater management of the fish processing industry uses three parameters for the assessment indicator with a total score of seven, which means that the management of industrial wastewater at TFP is in a bad category. The strategy for managing liquid waste from the fish processing industry at TFP consists of eight strategies. Providing integrated IPAL facilities so that the industry can process liquid waste resulting from production activities is a priority strategy.
