Kegiatan pembangunan yang berdekatan dengan ekosistem mangrove menjadi faktor utama penyebab penurunan kondisi ekosistem mangrove di Jakarta, yang diduga berdampak terhadap ikan yang berasosiasi di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara kondisi ekosistem mangrove dengan keanekaragaman ikan. Pengamatan lapang dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2021 hingga Januari 2022 di kawasan mangrove Muara Angke, Jakarta Utara. Pengukuran vegetasi mangrove dilakukan pada empat stasiun melalui metode transek dengan tiga ulangan, sedangkan pengambilan contoh ikan menggunakan alat tangkap jaring insang yang dilakukan pada waktu pasang dan surut selama tiga hari berturut. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan kerapatan mangrove paling tinggi berada di stasiun empat. Kondisi kesehatan mangrove juga tergolong kategori sedang. Jenis mangrove dengan indeks nilai penting tertinggi adalah Rhizophora apiculata. Total hasil tangkapan ikan dari dua stasiun di lokasi sebanyak 187 individu dengan tingkat keanekaragaman ikan berada pada kategori sedang. Terdapat hubungan positif antara kerapatan mangrove dengan keanekaragaman jenis ikan di Muara Angke, Jakarta Utara. Development activities adjacent to the mangrove ecosystem were the main factors causing the decline in the condition of the mangrove ecosystem in Jakarta, which ultimately affects the associated fishes. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the condition of the mangrove ecosystem and fish diversity. Field observations were carried out from December 2021 to January 2022 in the mangrove area of Muara Angke, North Jakarta. Measurement of mangrove vegetation was carried out at four stations through the transect method with three replications, while fish sampling was carried out using gill nets which were carried out at high and low tides for three consecutive days. The results obtained showed that the highest density of mangroves was at station four. The health condition of the mangroves is also in the moderate category. The type of mangrove with the highest importance value index is Rhizophora apiculata. The total fish catches from the two stations in the location were 187 individuals with the index of fish diversity in the medium category. There is a positive relationship between mangrove density and fish species diversity in Muara Angke, North Jakarta.
