      Abstract
      Pulau Sulawesi masih berkutat dengan masalah kemiskinan yang tinggi. Tingkat kemiskinan yang melebihi tingkat nasional dan pulau lainnya di Indonesia membuat masyarakat Pulau Sulawesi hidup dalam keterbatasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kemiskinan dan hubungannya terhadap kemiskinan di Pulau Sulawesi. Data yang digunakan merupakan data panel 6 provinsi di Pulau Sulawesi selama periode 2012-2021. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Upah Minimum Provinsi (UMP) dan Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemiskinan di Pulau Sulawesi. Sementara itu, Angka Harapan Hidup (AHH) dan Rata-rata Lama Sekolah (RLS) secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap penurunan kemiskinan di Pulau Sulawesi.
       
      Sulawesi Island is still struggling with the problem of high poverty. The poverty rate that exceeds the national level and other islands in Indonesia makes the people of Sulawesi Island live in limitations. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence poverty and its relationship to poverty in Sulawesi Island. The data used is panel data from 6 provinces in Sulawesi Island during the period 2012-2021. The method that used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis and panel data regression quantitative analysis. The results show that Regional Minimum Wage (UMP) and Unemployment Rate (TPT) have a significant effect on increasing poverty in Sulawesi Island. Meanwhile, Life Expectancy (AHH) and Average Years of Schooling (RLS) have a significant effect on poverty alleviation in Sulawesi Island
