Red guava juice had been given to 17 male and 10 female patients who were divided into treatment and control patients. Control patients were the patients who were not given red guava juice and treatment patients were the patients who were given red guava juice 200mL three times a day. Both were given therapy by the hospital. Male patients were divided into 8 control and 9 treatment patients, 10 women patients were divided into 5 control and 5 treatment patients whose age ranged between 15-30 years old and were diagnosed to be infected by DHF according to the World Health Organization (WHO) method. Blood analysis was done once every 12 hours by using flow cytometri. The result showed that the red guava juice giving to the DHF patients was not significantly different (p>0.05) to the blood values, but it affected to the percentage value of trombocyte and hematocryte. The red guava juice giving to the male and female patient was able to improve trombocyte decreasing to 31.28% and 23.6% respectively. It was also able to reduce the percentage of hematocryte until 1.51% for male and 10.94% for female.id
