dc.description.abstractThe aims of this research were: (1) to know the pattern of broiler’s marketing distribution in Bogor District, (2) to analyze the added value and profit share of broiler’s marketing activity in Bogor District. This research was carried out from January, 2008 until February, 2008 in market of Cibinong, market of Leuwiliang, and market of Ciampea, District Bogor. The samples of retailers were taken using cluster sampling method ,while the samples of slaughterer and collectors were taken from the marketing chain. The data were analyzed using descriptive analycis and added value analysis. The results of this research sholved that there were four patterns of broiler marketing distribution. Based on total of broiler distribution activities in Bogor District, the highest added value of broiler marketing activity was obtain by the slaughterers and the lowest of it was obtained by the retailers.
