Analisis Potensi dan Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Ekspor Tekstil dan Produk Tekstil Indonesia

Abstract

Industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) menjadi salah satu industri manufaktur strategis nasional. Industri TPT termasuk dalam sektor industri pengolahan yang potensial untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis potensi ekspor dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi ekspor TPT Indonesia ke negara tujuan ekspor utama. Metode penelitian untuk menganalisis potensi ekspor adalah Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Export Product Dynamic (EPD), dan X-Model Potential Exports. Metode untuk analisis faktor- faktor yang memengaruhi ekspor TPT Indonesia menggunakan pendekatan regresi data panel dengan periode waktu 2012-2020 dan data cross section sepuluh negara tujuan ekspor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komoditas TPT Indonesia di negara tujuan ekspor relatif memiliki potensi pengembangan pasar ekspor komoditas TPT yang optimis dan potensial. Hasil estimasi dari pendekatan regresi data panel menunjukkan bahwa variabel GDP riil negara tujuan, nilai tukar, harga ekspor, dan jarak ekonomi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap ekspor TPT Indonesia, sementara variabel populasi dan dummy COVID-19 menunjukkan pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap ekspor TPT Indonesia.

The textile and textile product is one of the strategic national manufacturing industries. The textile industry is the potential sector to develop that included in the manufacturing industry sector. The research aims to analyze export potential and factors that affect Indonesian textile exports to major destination country. The analytical method used to analyze export potential are Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Export Product Dynamic (EPD), and X-Model Potential Exports. The method used to analyze factors that affect Indonesian textile exports is data panel regression analysis for 2012-2020 and ten export destination countries. The results of research show that Indonesian textile commodity in export destination countries has potential export market that ideal for textile commodity. The results of data panel regression show that real GDP of destination countries, exchange rate, price of export, and economic distance significantly affecting Indonesian textile export, while population and dummy of COVID-19 has no significant effect of Indonesian textile export.
