Pengaruh ACFTA (ASEAN-China Free Trade Area) Terhadap Impor Telepon Asal China di ASEAN

Abstract

ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA) adalah kesepakatan dengan negara-negara di ASEAN dengan China dalam mewujudkan Kawasan perdagangan bebas. Telepon merupakan komoditas unggulan China yang termasuk kategori impor terbesar di ASEAN dimana nilai impor telepon China lebih besar dibandingkan dengan negara-negara lain, China mendominasi impor telepon di ASEAN sebanyak 55 dari keseluruhan impor dengan negara-negara lainnya. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya pengaruh ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA) terhadap impor telepon negara-negara ASEAN dari China. Penelitian ini menggunakan data tahunan pada periode 2006 sampai 2020. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif dan gravity model. Secara kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa produksi telepon disetiap negara ASEAN belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan terhadap telepon sehingga dilakukan impor. Hasil estimasi gravity model menunjukkan bahwa variabel ACFTA tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap impor telepon China di ASEAN. Faktor lain yang mempengaruhi impor telepon China di ASEAN ialah GDP riil ASEAN, GDP rill China, nilai tukar riil, jarak dan inflasi berpengaruh terhadap impor telepon China di ASEAN.

ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA) is an agreement between ASEAN countries and China for realizing a free trade area. Telephone is China's leading commodity which is included in the largest import category in ASEAN where the value of China's telephone imports is greater than other countries, China dominates telephone imports in ASEAN as much as 55 percent of the total imports from other countries. This study aimed to analyzed the effect of the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA) agreement on telephone imports from ASEAN countries from China. This study used an annual data from 2006 to 2020.The analytical methods used in this study are descriptive analysis and gravity model. Quantitatively , it shows that telephone production in each ASEAN country has not been able to meet the demand for telephones, imports are carried out. The estimation results of the gravity model show the ACFTA variable no significant effect on China's telephone imports in ASEAN. Other factors affecting China's telephone importsin ASEAN are ASEAN's real GDP, China's real GDP, the real exchange rate, distance and inflation have effect on China's telephone imports in ASEAN.
