      Pengaruh Ct-Value RT-PCR Terhadap Lama Waktu Kesembuhan Pasien Rawat Inap Covid-19 Periode Februari-Maret 2021

      Abstract
      Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) merupakan metode paling sensitif dalam pangujian Covid-19. Diagnosis dilakukan berdasarkan cycle threshold value (ct-value). Beberapa penelitian menyatakan bahwa ct-value akan semakin besar nilainya seiring dengan kesembuhan pasien. Ct-value hanya suatu angka yang digunakan untuk menyatakan keberadaan virus di dalam tubuh dan bukan sebagai tingkat keparahan. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya, beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi lama waktu kesembuhan pasien adalah usia dan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menunjukkan pengaruh ct-value serta usia dan jenis kelamin terhadap lama waktu kesembuhan pasien rawat inap Covid-19 RSUP Persahabatan periode Februari-Maret 2021 dengan gen virus yang ditargetkan adalah Rdrp dan Helikase. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan nonparametrik yaitu regresi B-spline. Model regresi B-spline ct-value secara simultan lebih menggambarkan data dibandingkan model ct-value secara mandiri namun R-square yang didapatkan masih cukup kecil untuk menunjukkan ct-value mampu menjelaskan lama waktu kesembuhan pasien. Dengan demikian, tidak tepat jika dinyatakan bahwa lama waktu kesembuhan pasien ditentukan oleh ct-value.
       
      Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) is the most sensitive method of testing for COVID-19. Diagnosis is made based on the cycle threshold value (ct-value). Several studies state that the ct-value will increase in value as the patient recovers. The ct-value is only a number used to indicate the presence of the virus and cannot be used as an indication of the severity. Several factors that influence the recovery time are age and gender. This study was conducted to show the effect of ct-value as well as age and gender on the recovery time of Covid-19 inpatient of Persahabatan Central General Hospital for February-March 2021 with the targeted viral genes being Rdrp and Helicase. The analysis was carried out using a nonparametric approach, namely B-spline regression. The simultaneous B-spline ct-value regression model describes the data better than the independent ct-value model, but the R-square is still small enough to show that the ct-value is able to explain the patient's recovery time. Thus, it is not correct to state that the patient's recovery time is determined by the ct-value.
