| dc.description.abstract | Ratun merupakan salah satu sistem budidaya tanaman padi dengan menumbuhkan tunas dari sisa pemotongan tunggul tanaman yang telah dipanen dan dapat memberikan tambahan hasil produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan nilai tinggi pemotongan tanaman yang optimal bagi pertumbuhan tajuk dan hasil padi ratun serta mengetahui respon padi varietas IPB 9G dan IPB 3S terhadap sistem budidaya ratun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Lahan Pertanian Dusun Wates, Desa Gentan, Kecamatan Susukan, Kabupaten Semarang, Jawa Tengah pada bulan Februari hingga Agustus 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan gabungan antara varietas dan tinggi pemotongan yang disusun dengan rancangan petak terbagi (split plot) RKLT dengan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan tinggi pemotongan 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm dan 20 cm di atas permukaan tanah. Varietas padi yang digunakan yaitu IPB 9G dan IPB 3S. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas IPB 9G menghasilkan respon agronomi serta memiliki hasil produksi yang lebih baik pada pertanaman induk maupun tanaman ratun dibandingkan dengan varietas IPB 3S. Perlakuan tinggi pemotongan ratun tidak berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap karakter agronomi dan hasil produksi tanaman ratun pada kedua varietas padi. Namun perlakuan tinggi pemotongan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap umur berbunga dan umur panen tanaman ratun. Hasil produksi varietas IPB 9G pada tanaman induk sebesar 4,66 ton ha-1 dan varietas IPB 3S sebesar 3,38 ton ha-1. Sedangkan pada tanaman ratun, varietas IPB 9G memiliki hasil produksi sebesar 2,22 ton ha-1 dan varietas IPB 3S sebesar 1,55 ton ha-1. | dc.description.abstract | Ratoon is a system of rice cultivation by growing shoots from the remaining
stumps of crops that have been harvested so that it can provide additional
production. This research aims to obtain the optimal cutting height value for the
growth of the crown and yield of rice ratoon and to determine the response of the
IPB 9G and IPB 3S varieties of rice to the ratoon cultivation system. The research
was conducted in Wates, Gentan, Susukan, Semarang, West Java from February to
August 2021. This research is combined experiment between variety and cutting
height arranged in RKLT divided plot design with 3 replications. The treatment of
cutting height 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm and 20 cm above the ground surface. The rice
varieties used were IPB 9G and IPB 3S. The result showed that the IPB 9G variety
produced an agronomic response and had better yield on main crop and on the
ratoon compared to the IPB 3S variety. Treatment of ratoon cutting height did not
significantly affect the agronomic character and yield of ratoon crop production in
both rice varieties. But the treatment of cutting height has very significant effect on
the flowering and harvesting age of ratoon plants. The yield of IPB 9G variety on
main crop was 4.66 ton ha-1
and IPB 3S variety was 3.38 ton ha-1
. While for ratoon,
