      Pendugaan Tinggi Tutupan Tajuk Hutan Dataran Rendah Menggunakan Data Lidar Dan Citra Landsat 8 Oli

      Abstract
      Perencanaan dan pengelolaan pada ekosistem hutan dataran rendah diperlukan untuk menjaga fungsi dan peranannya di alam. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu pengamatan tutupan tajuk pohon yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kerusakan hutan (deforestasi). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi tinggi tutupan tajuk pada ekosistem hutan dataran rendah dan membandingkan tinggi tutupan tajuk aktual dari data LiDAR dan pendugaan dari model prediksi Citra Landsat 8 OLI. Penelitian dilaksanakan di ekosistem hutan dataran rendah PT. Restorasi Ekosistem Indonesia (REKI) Sumatera Selatan. Tinggi tutupan tajuk aktual diperoleh dari Canopy Height Model dan prediksi dari model CHM = 102.58 - 1132.99 Band 3, R2 = 23.2 RMSE = 7.318%. Nilai rata-rata tinggi tutupan tajuk data prediksi pada kelas 1–3 (5 - 20m) mempunyai nilai lebih tinggi terhadap data aktual (overestimate). Sedangkan pada kelas 4–5 (20 - >25m) nilai rata-rata tinggi tutupan tajuk data prediksi mempunyai nilai yang lebih rendah terhadap data aktual (underestimate).
       
      Information on canopy cover is required for good forest plannings and managements. Planning and management of lowland forest ecosystems is necessary to maintain their function and role in nature. One of the activities that can be carried out is the observation of tree canopy cover which aims to analyze the level of forest damage (deforestation). The purpose of this study was to identify the height of the canopy cover in the lowland forest ecosystem and to compare the actual canopy cover height from LiDAR data and estimates from the prediction model of Landsat 8 OLI imagery. The research was conducted in the lowland forest ecosystem of PT. Restorasi Ekosistem Indonesia (REKI) in South Sumatra. Actual crown cover height is obtained from Canopy Height Model whereas the prediction is from CHM model = 102.58 - 1132.99 Band 3, R2 = 23.2 RMSE = 7.318%. The average value of the predicted canopy cover data in class 1-3 (5-20m) has a higher value than the actual data (overestimate). Whereas in class 4–5 (20 -> 25m) the average value of the predicted data header cover height has a lower value than the actual data (underestimate)
