      Respon Tanaman Cabai Rawit pada Sistem Irigasi Tetes terhadap Aplikasi Nano Silika Lewat Daun

      Abstract
      Cabai rawit merupakan salah satu komoditas sayuran terpenting di Indonesia. Masalah terpenting dalam produksi cabai rawit adalah rendahnya produktivitas. Aplikasi nano silika diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas cabai rawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi nano silika lewat daun terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil panen cabai rawit Harita pada budi daya menggunakan mulsa polyethylene dan irigasi tetes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Leuwikopo, Institut Pertanian Bogor, dengan jenis tanah latosol dan koordinat 6°33'50,2"S 106°43'31,0"E. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) dengan satu faktor yaitu konsentrasi nano silika yang diberikan dalam 5 taraf perlakuan yaitu 0 ml L-1, 1,5 ml L-1, 3 ml L-1, 4,5 ml L-1, dan 6 ml L-1 dengan 3 ulangan. Variabel yang diamati adalah karakter vegetatif, respon perkembangan dan hasil tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi nano silika pada cabai rawit Harita pada sistem budi daya menggunakan mulsa polyethylene dan irigasi tetes tidak meningkatkan variabel vegetatif tanaman dan hasil tanaman.
       
      Chilli pepper is one of the most important vegetable commodity in Indonesia. The most important problem in chilli pepper production is low productivity. Silica applications are expected to increase the productivity of chilli pepper. The research objectives are to find out the effect foliar application of nano silica on polyethylene mulched and drip irrigated Harita chilli pepper growth and yield. This research was conducted at the Leuwikopo Field Station, Bogor Agricultural University, with latosol soil type and co-ordinate 6 ° 33'50,2 "S 106 ° 43'31,0" E. This research was arranged in a Completely Randomized Block Design (RKLT) with one factor, concentration of nano silica 0 ml L-1, 1,5 ml L-1, 3 ml L-1, 4,5 ml L-1, and 6 ml L-1 with three replications. The variable observed were vegetative characters, developmental responses and crop yields. The results of this study showed that the application of nano silica in Harita chilli did not increase plant vegetative variables and plant yields.
