dc.description.abstract | Benih bermutu memiliki peran penting dalam keberhasilan budidaya
tanaman. Mutu benih yang tercantum pada kemasan benih bersertifikat hanya
kadar air benih, daya berkecambah dan kemurnian benih. Nyatanya, masih banyak
peubah mutu lain yang belum tercantum salah satunya bobot 1000 butir. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan bobot 1000 butir benih
terhadap viabilitas dan vigor benih, field emergence, pertumbuhan dan hasil
produksi padi. Percobaan disusun dalam Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak
(RKLT) dengan tiga perlakuan, yaitu benih dengan bobot 1000 butir tinggi,
sedang dan rendah. Percobaan dilakukan pada tiga varietas padi, yaitu Ciherang,
Inpari 32 dan Inpari 42. Bobot 1000 butir benih berpengaruh nyata pada daya
hantar listrik benih, tinggi bibit, jumlah daun bibit, bobot kering bibit dan
pertumbuhan tanaman padi pada ketiga varietas yang diuji. Perbedaan bobot 1000
butir benih tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap peubah viabilitas dan vigor lainnya,
indeks luas daun, umur berbunga, komponen hasil dan produksi pada ketiga
varietas yang diuji. Benih dengan bobot tinggi memiliki kemampuan untuk
tumbuh menjadi bibit yang kuat dan dapat mempercepat masa persemaian dari
ketiga varietas yang diuji. Benih dengan rentang bobot tinggi dan sedang memiliki
pertumbuhan vegetatif yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan benih berbobot

dc.description.abstract | Quality seeds have an important role in the success of plant cultivation.
The quality listed on the certified seed packaging is only the moisture content,
germination and seed purity. In fact, there are many other quality variables that
have not been listed, one of which is 1000 grain weight. This study aims to
determine the effect of differences in 1000 grain weight on viability and vigor,
field emergence, growth and yield. The experiment was arranged in a Completely
Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with three treatments, namely high, medium
and low 1000 grain weight seeds. The experiment was carried out on three rice
varieties, Ciherang, Inpari 32 and Inpari 42. The 1000 grain weight significantly
affected the electrical conductivity, seedling height, seedling leaves, dry weight of
seeds and growth in three varieties tested. The difference in 1000 grain weight did
not significantly affect on other viability and vigor variables, leaf area index,
flowering age, yield and production components in three varieties tested. Seeds
with high weight have the ability to grow into strong seedlings and can accelerate
the seeding period of the three varieties tested. Seeds with high and medium
weight ranges had better vegetative growth compared to low weight seeds. | id |
