dc.description.abstract | Feline Panleukopenia merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus
DNA beruntai tinggal yang tidak terbungkus. Penyakit ini memiliki morbiditas dan
mortalitas yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik
serial kasus suspect panleukopenia pada kucing. Desain penelitian ini ialah studi
serial kasus menggunakan data rekam medis lengkap dari Klinik Hewan DNA
tahun 2020. Kriteria pasien suspect FPV adalah pasien kucing dengan gejala klinis
muntah dan diare serta menunjukkan leukopenia berdasarkan pemeriksaan
hematologi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menghitung proporsi kasus
berdasarkan distribusi temporal, spasial, animal. Analisis data dilakukan dengan
menggunakan SPSS® Versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 3008 pasien
kucing yang datang 86 diantaranya (2,8%) didiagnosis suspect FPV. Sebagian besar
berasal dari Kota Bogor Utara, dan tertular pada musim hujan (62%), didominasi
oleh kucing jantan (66,3%), ras lokal, umur <6 bulan. Dalam penelitian ini 23,3%
dari semua kasus suspect mengalami kematian. Disimpulkan bahwa kasus
menunjukkan gejela klinis dan hematologi yang bervariasi dengan tingkat fatalitas
kasus hingga 23,3%. | id |
dc.description.abstract | Feline Panleukopenia is a disease caused by a non enveloped, single-stranded
DNA virus. This disease has high morbidity and mortality. The study aims were to
analyze the characteristics suspected panleukopenia in cats. This study used a case
series study design using the complete medical records from DNA Animal Clinic
in 2020. The criteria as a suspect FPV were cat patients with clinical symptoms of
vomiting and diarrhea and showed leukopenia based on hematological examination.
Data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the proportion of cases based on
the temporal, spatial, and animal distribution. Data was analyzed using SPSS®
version 26. The results showed that there were 3008 cases of disease in cats and 86
or (2,8%) were diagnosed as suspect panleukopenia. Most of them came from North
Bogor City, and infected during rainy season (62%), dominated by male cats
(66,3%), with domestic short hair breeds, aged <6 months. In this study 23,3% of
all suspect cases experienced death. It is concluded that the cases showed various
clinical and haematological symptoms with a case fatality rate of up to 23,3% | id |
