dc.description.abstractPotassium has an important role in the formation and growth of sweet potato. This study aims to determine the precise of potassium fertilizer for sweet potato Ase Kapas clone growth and production. The doses of fertilizer given were 0%, 50%, 100%, 150%, and 200% from the recommendation (90 kg K2O ha-1). The doses of K¬2O fertilizer has a significant effect on the sweet potato growth and productivity. The optimum dose of 148.23 kg K2O ha-1 resulted in the highest growth and production. Tuber weight is 252% heavier than without potassium fertilizer. Potassium fertilizer at this dose also reduced the percentage of number of tuber that infected by potato weevil (Cylas formicarius) and increased number of market worthy tuber.id
