dc.description.abstractEcotourism operation in Tangkoko-Duasudara Nature Reserve (TDNR) has generated very complex problem due to its status as preservation area, while ecotourism activity increasing and was no longer possible to be discontinued. Therefore, a policy action formulating management and development of ecotourism in TDNR is needed. Field survey was used as a method concerning standard criterion assessment of objects and natural recreation fascination. Research result indicated that area of TDNR was high potency to be developed for ecotourism, with a lot of interesting objects within the TDNR, a unique and endemic biodiversity of flora and fauna. There are three potential interpretation paths i.e. Lingkar Path; Puncak Path and Kumeresot Path, where all unique attractions could be observed. It also indicated that policy zoning was become first order policy. Suggested strategies are cooperation among stakeholders in managing cultural and natural resources; improvement of service; improvement of accommodation; improvement of facilities and infrastructure to support going concern development. Planning of integrated development from all stakeholders with principles of co-management is also recommendedid
