Abstract: The objective of this study was to examine the relationship between nutritional status, and parenting, and cognitive development of preschool children in poor families. Design of this study is a cross-sectional with sample size was 152 children. The result showed that significant correlation between nutritional status and cognitive development (p-value = 0.028) and parenting and cognitive development (p-value = 0.038). Influencing factor for cognitive development was parenting (OR = 0.328, 95% CI = 0.121-0.892).
