| Abstract: | Prevalensi hipertensi di Jawa Barat mencapai 34,4% dengan cakupan layanan kesehatan di Kabupaten Bogor hanya 3,85% (SKI, 2023). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh edukasi diet DASH melalui media video dan buku zig-zag terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan penderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Ciangsana. Desain yang digunakan adalah komparatif dengan dua kelompok perlakuan melalui pendekatan pretest-posttest, melibatkan 100 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dan dibagi rata pada kelompok media video dan kelompok media buku. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney. Hasil menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan pengetahuan sebelum intervensi (p=0,309), namun setelah intervensi terdapat perbedaan signifikan (p=0,038). Edukasi diet DASH berbasis video dan buku zig-zag terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan responden. The prevalence of hypertension in West Java reaches 34.4%, with healthcare service coverage in Bogor Regency at only 3.85% (SKI, 2023). This study aimed to analyze the effect of DASH diet education through video media and zigzag book on improving knowledge of hypertension patients in the working area of Ciangsana Public Health Center. The design used was comparative with two intervention groups through a pretest–posttest approach, involving 100 respondents selected by purposive sampling and evenly divided into the video media group and the zigzag book group. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon and Mann–Whitney tests. The results showed no significant difference in knowledge before the intervention (p = 0.309); however, after the intervention, there was a significant difference (p = 0.038). DASH diet education using video and zigzag book was proven effective in improving respondents’ knowledge. |
