Abstract: Pengetahuan dan sikap sangat penting dalam pemilihan makanan yang baik sesuai dengan gizi seimbang untuk anak sekolah, maka perlu adanya edukasi terkait gizi seimbang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anak sekolah terkait gizi seimbang. Desain yang digunakan adalah Pre-experimental one-group pretest-post-test dengan populasi siswa kelas 6 SD. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan berupa karakteristik subjek, pengetahuan dan sikap. Data diolah dan dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil Karakteristik subjek yaitu (50,0%) laki-laki dan (50,0%) perempuan, rata-rata usia adalah 12 tahun. Penilaian tingkat pengetahuan anak meningkat yaitu -5,473 atau <0,005 maka hasil dinyatakan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Penilaian sikap anak meningkat yaitu -1,265 atau >0,005 maka hasil dinyatakan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Saran untuk penelitian ini adalah perlu adanya keterlibatan dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak seperti guru dan orangtua agar dapat meningkatkan sikap anak sekolah terkait gizi seimbang.
Knowledge and attitudes are very important in choosing good food according to balanced nutrition for school children, so there needs to be education related to balanced nutrition. This study aims to improve school children's understanding of balanced nutrition. The design used is Pre-experimental one-group pretest-post-test with a population of 6th grade elementary school students. The types of data collected are subject characteristics, knowledge and attitudes. Data are processed and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Results Subject characteristics are (50.0%) male and (50.0%) female, the average age is 12 years. The assessment of children's knowledge levels increased, namely -5.473 or <0.005, the results stated that there was a significant difference. The assessment of children's attitudes increased, namely -1.265 or >0.005, the results stated that there was no significant difference. The suggestion for this study is that there needs to be involvement and support from various parties such as teachers and parents in order to improve the attitudes of school children regarding balanced nutrition.
