Abstract: Anak usia sekolah membutuhkan makanan bergizi seimbang untuk mendukung proses tumbuh kembang. Pemerintah melaksanakan program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) untuk memenuhi gizi seimbang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap gizi seimbang melalui edukasi menggunakan media pop up book. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu desain quasi eksperimen dengan dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol, masing-masing berjumlah 26 siswa. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan pada kelompok intervensi, dari 61,43 ± 11,46 saat pretest, menjadi 96,07 ± 6,29 saat posttest. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan sikap pada kelompok intervensi dari 28,71 ± 1,90 menjadi 30,39 ± 1,62. Meskipun kelompok kontrol juga mengalami peningkatan pada pengetahuan dan sikap, namun peningkatannya tidak melebihi kelompok intervensi. Media pop up book memiliki tingkat penerimaan yang sangat baik dari responden.
School-age children need balanced nutritious food to support their growth and development processes. The government implements the “Makan Bergizi Gratis” (MBG) program to meet balanced nutrition. This research aims to enhance knowledge and attitudes towards balanced nutrition through education using popup book media. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with two groups, namely the intervention group and the control group, each consisting of 26 students. The results show an increase in knowledge in the intervention group, from 61.43 ± 11.46 at the pretest to 96.07 ± 6.29 at the posttest. Additionally, there was an increase in attitudes in the intervention group from 28.71 ± 1.90 to 30.39 ± 1.62. Although the control group also experienced an increase in knowledge and attitudes, the increase did not surpass that of the intervention group. The pop up book media received very good acceptance from the respondents.
