Globalization and business competition demand that manufacturing companies improve their operational efficiency. One effort that can be made is the implementation of well-structured and effective inventory management. Therefore, companies require clear and systematic procedures. The purpose of this study is to improve the effectiveness of stock opname activities through the development and revision of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) at PT FSCM Manufacturing Indonesia. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, documentation, and literature study. Based on the analysis, the previous SOP was not able to optimally accommodate operational needs due to a lack of clear structure and the incomplete application of internal control principles. As a result, a more systematic and comprehensive SOP was developed. The revised SOP is expected to improve inventory data accuracy, minimize technical errors, and clarify the stock opname workflow.
